Welcome to the most bustling, brightest place in town, Springtime Square! Sure, in the freezing cold winter, or the scorching hot summer, the name may be ironic, but now as the daffodils bloom on every corner, there's no better place to be!

Springtime Square, a LEGO town square, with LEGO lights hanging overhead, and three LEGO buildings, one of them being a LEGO hamburger shop with LEGO brown brick walls, and LEGO flowerpots in the windows, a giant LEGO burger sign, another being a purple LEGO bookstore with a curved LEGO wall, with purple and white striped LEGO walls, and the third being a blue LEGO apartment, with blue LEGO walls and teal, white and blue LEGO stripes, LEGO plaza with LEGO lights hanging overhead, LEGO umbrellas and tables, LEGO food, LEGO tables, LEGO plazas, LEGO buildings, LEGO townsquares

This square has everything, from blooming flowers along every wall, to a bookstore brimming with books and trinkets, plus lots of tables to eat lunch at.

I've been wanting to build an alley for months. My vision for the alley was a little street in the city with lights and flowers draped from every room, and food being handed out. I've also been wanting to build a city square, with lights and music and festivities. This build is my ideal combination of the two ideas, with the best elements from each idea contributing to the final model.

One of the first things I did when I got the idea to make a town square is make a Burger Shop, with flowers growing along the sides, brick walls, and burgers and sandwiches (of course).

One of my favorite details is the purple around the windows. I love how boxes of flowers look in the window, and to add an extra bit of color to this otherwise blandly brown building, I made sure to incorporate plants on every wall!

For that last bit of color and style, I also built a giant burger as the sign for this building. Much of this burger is based off of my post, The Burger.

The inside is also very colorful. Even though it's pretty simple, it takes advantage of the small space, and captures everything that's necessary for an awesome sandwich shop!

And when you order your sandwich, you can take it right outside, and eat in the plaza while enjoying the beautiful lights!

This plaza is really my favorite part of the build. It has lots of flowers, colorful details everywhere you look, and captures everything that I wanted this build to capture when I got the idea!

So come, get your sandwiches, and tune in next week to read more about this vibrant and colorful place, a precious gem in the middle of a black and white city!
