The Books Bookstore

Welcome to the most eye-popping, stand-out bookstore on the block, a bookstore so unique it doesn't even need a sign!

This book store is similar to other bookstores I've build, with wooden book shelves inside, and a small base plate. But this bookstore has one thing that's unique, and that is that this book store is literally shaped like a stack of books!

My original idea for this was just made with spines like the one on the purple book. But I realized that that way looked a bit too bland, and that it didn't stand out enough. That's when I added the green spine, which bends and curves. Sure, it was a lot harder to attach the pages and the cover to this book, but it makes the book store look a lot more realistic and stand-out!

Besides the unique shape of this shop, another detail that I really like is the shape of the books on the bookshelves.

These books aren't just flat against the shelf. Instead, these books stick out in all sorts of odd textures, making them look less like LEGO and more like actual books, sitting on the shelves of the coolest shop in town!
