The Burger

There's nothing better to eat on a Saturday barbecue, especially when it's summertime (which it's not right now), than a scrumptious, juicy, burger with all the trimmings! And let's not forget to mention the fabulous blog post that goes with it.

So I was having a call with my Abuela and my Abulo a little while ago, and my Abulo was talking about how much he loves burgers. "They're amazing!" "There's nothing better!"

I was playing with my LEGO, and was kind of bored with what I was building, so I decided to build a... burger! (obviously)

The first layer I built was the burger, the meat part of it. Debating between making it one stud or two studs tall, I decided on one stud, so that it would work with the scale of what I envisioned for the rest of the build.

Then the next layer was simple, cheese and lettuce, stacked on top of the meat part, and giving it that icon burger look. And after that? I had tomatoes to build.

Now while I was debating whether to give tomatoes a smooth finish or show the studs, I came across these flower petals, and realized that those would be the perfect pieces to use for tomatoes!

Then all that was left to do was finish the top, which was fairly easy, and make the base to give it that final touch! And then, I had a burger, which fit perfectly in my hand just like a satisfying burger! Delicious!
