Frozen Pond

Welcome to one of my first builds with a base made of sideways pieces. It's a frozen pond, right at the start of spring. There are bits of plants growing on the edges, but there is still plenty of snow.

One thing I like on this build is the use of clear pieces on the snow. Lots of times, especially in early spring, the snow will melt a little into water, than freeze back into ice, so the clear pieces do a good job with that.

Another thing I like is the raised pieces of ice, since many ponds do have a couple of slabs of ice sticking out.

Overall, it's not fancy or big, but it does show a pretty scene of a frozen winter pond at the end of winter and the start of spring, and that's why I built it.
