Which City? What Ideas? The 1st Create Sparkle Vote!

As we enter the second year of Create Sparkle, I'm ready to try out some new things on my blog! And what's more fun than letting my readers tell me what to build? Here on this post, you can read about the two new votes I'm opening!

Vote on a City

When I got the idea for an audience interactive vote, I thought about my next big post. My last big post project, City in a Tree, I finished publishing four months ago, and I'm ready for another huge project!

All three of the large models I'm considering are cities. What you're voting on is what type of city it is, and whether the city is going to be the tallest city ever posted on Create Sparkle, the city with the most motors, or the one with the most buildings!

Your Options:

City of Movement

Your first option is a moving city. With houses that go up and down, roads that move to support everyone's travel needs, and moving stairs that will lift off and take you wherever you need to go, the City of Movement will be one spectacular ride, constructed both of buildings and of technical elements. Plus, from this city, you can expect at least three motorized functions!

City of Rainbow Splatters

This model is really going for the colorful and the quirky! It's set in a regular city, except the entire city is built in black and white. This is okay, until one day, a bucket of paint spills off the side of a building, and an explosion of color erupts!

There are buildings all in black and white, like an old photograph, buildings in all the rainbow colors, and everything in between! While the city may not have technical elements, it shines through in its beautiful colors. My previous big build, City in a Tree was 2.5 feet tall, but this build will be at least 3 feet tall! This build will also include at least 20 different colors from the rainbow!

City on a Falling Cliff Side

This build really plays more on the story than anything else. The story behind it is that hundreds of years ago, a developer came and built a city on a cliff. As the cliff eroded over the years, the city came closer and closer to the edge of the cliff, until suddenly, it's hanging right over the ocean. Will the citizens be able to fix this in time? This build will include at least twelve different buildings! (For perspective, my last big build, City in a Tree, had seven buildings).

Not only am I holding a vote for cities, but I'm also letting people make suggestions for a smaller build that I could write one post for. You can submit written suggestions with your ideas, and I'll pick the on that I think is the most unique and that would make the funnest build!
