Not-So Perfect Pool

Welcome to your typical summer pool! It's a beautiful pool, with a bathroom, diving board, and slide; but something is a bit off...

From a distance, it looks like a perfect pool. That's what the guy who bought it thought it was. He paid a big amount for it, but when he looked closer, after signing the check of course, he saw it really wasn't perfect.

The slide was misaligned. The wooden boards were out of place. The roof was missing tiles. There wasn't a ladder going to the diving board. And there was lots of junk in the water itself.
I like looking at the pool and first seeing a perfect, beautiful pool, but then as I look closer, noticing that there are indeed a lot of flaws.

My idea for this started out with a need for more builds to add to the Summer Posts category, and what's more summery than a pool? So I built the pool you see in front of you, minus the flaws of course. But it turned out a bit too normal, a bit too typical. So I broke it, turning it into a not-so perfect pool that ended up working really well.

One thing that worked really well once I turned the pool into a not-so perfect pool was, as I realized, I was one piece short of having enough purple pieces for the roofs. So having broken roofs that didn't require as many pieces worked well for me. I also liked the addition of adding plants and weeds to the pool. They gave it more color and vibrancy.
So, even though this isn't your average summer pool, it's still a nice (as I keep repeating) not-so perfect pool!
