Welcome to an ocean (or lake, I'm not sure) side salad stand! Enjoy the summer breeze while eating a deliciously nutritious salad by the lake!

This build started out with the dock, an idea which came when I was sorting through a brown piece bin and found lots and lots of great brown dock wood pieces!

I decided to build a dock, and started out with a nice flat dock. But something was missing.
That's when I realized that the dock wanted to be bumpy. It wanted to be a bit hard to walk over. And it wanted to look like it could give you plenty of splinters. It wanted to be the type of dock that had parents saying 'watch your step' before walking on it.
Next came the hard part, deciding what to build next to the dock. I had already added water around the dock and a platform to put something on, but I wasn't sure quite what to put on.

Then I got my idea! For this wasn't an ordinary dock, and it had some scares up its sleeves. Not only are there sharks in the water (this is sounding less and less friendly), there's also lots of healthy, and nutritious vegetable trays to bring nightmares to lollipop loving kids (and their dessert loving grandfather). It's a salad stand! Boo! (Or Hooray! depending on your feelings for salad).

I'd also like to mention that this is my fourth set using mini-figures (the other three sets are Roundabout, Pride Art Studio and Playground Garden). They add a nice story to the build and some nice detail.
And while some of my builds I do think look better without mini-figures, I also think that they work quite nicely in this build.
All together it's a nice, colorful, cheery build that features a quaint little salad stand overlooking beautiful waters.
